Lois Marie Lane, age 79, of Eaton, OH and formerly of Arcanum and West Milton, OH, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Born June 5, 1930 in Middlesboro, KY, she was a daughter of the late Barlow & Daisy (Lynch) Hill. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who loved to stay in touch with all her family and friends. She attended the Eaton Baptist Temple in recent years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband James L. Lane on July 29, 1983: brother Lillon Hill and sisters Beatrice Gottschalk and Evanell Stanley.
Survived by daughters & sons -in-law Deborah & Steve Vanzant of New Paris, OH; Cynthia & Michael Boles of Springboro, OH and Jamie & Randy George of Eaton: grandchildren Ben Armentrout, Kelly Woodall, Jacob Fisher, Shane Vanzant, Daniel Boles and Joshua Boles: great grandchildren Christopher and Chelsea Armentrout; Harrison and Isabella Woodall; and Baby Boles on the way: brothers and sisters Harry Hill of Dayton; William T. Hill of Monroe, MI; Dean Hill of Franklin, OH; Rada Flack of FL; Mitzi Stanley of Taylor, MI; and Kenton Hill of Jamestown, OH.
Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Lowell T. Spencer presiding. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Baptist Temple. Interment Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.
Alice
Marjorie (Flora) Wallace, age 89, of Farmersville, OH, passed away Saturday
morning March 6, 2010 at New Lebanon Care and Rehabilitation Center, New
Lebanon, OH. Mrs. Wallace was born September 14, 1920 in Flora, Ind. She was the
daughter of the late Walter & Ermie (Coulter) Flora. She was a member of the
United Church of Christ in Farmersville, OH. Alice (Marge) was employed for many
years with the former Bell’s IGA as a head cashier in New Lebanon, OH, and later
worked as a product demonstrator for Meijer Stores in the Dayton area. During WW
II, she worked as an airplane engine tester. Alice was also an avid doll maker
and collector, sharing many dolls with friends and family over the years.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Clutter & husband Larry of Celina, OH, Tom Wallace & Wife Sherry of Farmersville, OH, Marilyn Wallace-Rine of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Mary Wells & husband Rick of New Lebanon, OH; 16 grandchildren, 34 great grand children and 9 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband John T. Wallace whom she married on March 1, 1941: beloved sister Eleanor Moore, and brother Charles Flora.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 U.S. Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Susan Hartman presiding. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday and I hour prior to services Wednesday. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Farmersville Fire & Rescue Squad. Internment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
Ronald R. Fox, age 52, of Eaton, OH, passed away Sunday morning, March 7, 2010 following a brief struggle with cancer. Born January 7, 1958 in Middletown, OH, he was the son of James and Carol Jane (Mann) Fox. Survived by wife Patricia E. (Bratton) Fox whom he married December 5, 1984: children Emily Fox and R.J. Fox both of Eaton: grandchildren Allison and Curtis Fox: mother & step father Carol & Frank Caudill of Middletown: maternal grandmother Percie Mann of Middletown: brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and other family and friends. Preceded in death by his father James Fox.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Wayne Morrison presiding. Friends may call on the family from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
